Wow! I've been looking around at all the fall decor in blog land and I have to say, some of you folks are amazing! You're a creative and busy bunch!
I started at Thistlewood Farm and of course we all know that KariAnne comes-up with some wonderful creative ideas! Her photography skills rival the pros at Better Homes and Gardens and every other decorating magazine on the shelves. Her room styling skills are off the chart amazing!
For those of you who don't know, there is a great fall tour going on in blogland where you get to peek into the homes of 16 bloggers.
Check it out! Go to this link for the first stop of the tour. Grab your favorite beverage and get ready for a real treat!
After seeing all of this, my little tweaks pale in comparison but I'm having fun and not comparing.
I'm going lighter this year and adding a bit of whimsy. I've been having fun twiddling around with Picmonkey and moving my dear cow Bessie all over the house.
If you'd like to see how my decor started this year, you can read about it here.
I found a little cart at a consignment store for $6.00 and thought it would look cute on my mantel. My mantel started like this.
And now looks like this. UPDATE: The anchor is gone! It did look out of place with the fall decor.
And sometimes Bessie sits on the mantel. After all, she did win best in show at the County Cottage Garden Fair!
My adorable friendly looking witch gets moved all over the place too.
Don't you just love her stockings and her little laced shoes?
And for a bit of el-e-gance......
And....here is a shot of the whole room.
Changed out the pillow on the chair for a fall one from Home Goods.
And......Kensie and Kayla say, mom needs more visitors so I hope you'll drop by again.
I'll have a 1950's vintage bathroom reveal in a couple of weeks (waiting for a handmade sign to arrive in the mail)
And...... a nice surprise for the living room (hopefully by next week).
I'm waiting for something big to be installed in the living room.
Oh, how I hate waiting.
I'd love to hear from you!
